On January 7th, the Climate Safe Pensions Illinois (CSPI) Coalition presented the Case for Fossil Fuel Divestment at the Illinois Environmental Council’s Lunch and Learn series. The CSPI coalition discussed the climate and financial case for divesting the 5 major state pension funds in Illinois.
The CSPI coalition consists of 350 Chicago, Third Act Illinois, the Climate Reality Project Metro Chicago Chapter and 36 Endorsing organizations.
