Rise up for a Sun Powered Planet! Sun Day Solar Fest Chicago

Join Third Act Illinois, 350 Chicago and our partner organizations for the Sun Day Solar Fest!

What's the Sun Day Solar Fest? It's a nationwide celebration of clean energy progress - and a chance to stand up for the solar and wind power that's making our communities healthier, quieter, and more affordable.

Bill McKibben, noted environmentalist and author reminds us that Americans have long thought of solar/wind as alternative energy, “the Whole Foods of energy - nice but pricey,” It’s time, he argued, to think of it as “the Costco of energy: cheap, on the shelf, and available in bulk, ready to go.”

In Chicago, we will be gathering at Montrose Beach adjacent to Doggie Beach and who doesn’t love that! Here are the details:

What: Sun Day Solar Fest!

When: September 21st from Noon - 4 PM

Where: Montrose Beach Dog Park • 610 W Lawrence, Chicago, IL 60613 US
