Sun Day Solar Fest

Third Act Illinois and 350 Chicago hosted the Sun Day Solar Fest on Chicago's beautiful Lake Michigan shore — a joyful celebration of the power of the sun.

Over 30 groups — from solar installers and nonprofits to justice organizations and houses of worship — joined the festivities to recognize the advances in solar energy, shared fun activities and easy ways to go solar, including community solar that can save 15% to 20% on your electric bill.

The day was packed with family-friendly fun as we cheered the miracle of solar — part of the global clean energy wave, where 95% of new power last year came from solar, wind, and batteries!
