Utility Justice 101 Training Webinar
Join 350 Chicago and members of the 350 Network Council on Wednesday, May 28th at 7:00 pm CST for a Utility Justice 101 training event.
350 Chicago is joining other members of the 350 Network Council in hosting this training in association with Third Act, and special guest Bill McKibben. We are reaching out to people across the country who want to learn more about our current energy system and how they can fight back against monopoly utilities!
What: Utility Justice Webinar
When: May 28th at 7 PM CST
Where: Zoom
During the webinar, we’ll be tackling questions like:
How do electric & gas utilities work?
Why are my bills so expensive?
Why are utilities delaying the transition to clean energy?
Why do utility companies have so much power, and such little accountability?
How can we fight back and achieve utility justice?
Then, we’ll hold regional breakout rooms and connect with others in our area that want to join the campaign for Energy Equity here in Illinois and the Midwest! Show up and represent! This is a great space to invite your friends, family, and neighbors that are concerned about their utility, but aren’t sure what they can do themselves.
