Illinois Electric Vehicle Rebate Program
The next Illinois EPA Electric Vehicle Rebate Program application cycle opened August 1st, 2026.
Eligible Illinois residents may qualify for:
• Up to $4,000 for a new or used all electric vehicle (low income applicants)
• $2,000 for other eligible applicants
• $1,500 for an all electric motorcycle
Applications must be postmarked between August 1st and December 31st, 2026, and within 180 days of your vehicle purchase. Applications submitted before August 1st will not be accepted. Funds are limited, so eligible applicants are encouraged to apply early.
